Pets

Have you spotted a parade of golden retrievers recently? The 12 South Golden Hour is a monthly golden retriever meetup that strolls through the neighborhood. The next walk is set for Saturday, March 14 in front of Bongo Java’s Belmont Boulevard location — and yes, the group has an Instagram account. (WTVF)

Sports

The Nashville Kats will kick off their 2026 season at Clarksville’s F&M Bank Arena, but prior to that, the team plans to host player tryouts on Saturday, March 21 at Austin Peay’s Fortera Stadium. Registration is required.

Fun Fact

Paleontologists discovered a new species of Spinosaurus in the Sahara desert. They believe the dinosaur lived roughly 95 million years ago + weighed up to seven tons. There’s no need to travel across the world to uncover our planet’s history — we have plenty on display at Nashville’s museums. (Reuters)

Asked

There’s a radio station-themed McDonald’s in Nashville dubbed “WMAC.” Do you know where?

A. The one on Broadway
B. Near Opry Mills
C. Next to Centennial Park
D. Out in Madison

McDonald’s removed some of the radio-themed elements in recent years, but this location still hosts live music, has this jukebox, and a features small display room with vintage radios and instruments.
