The latest nostalgic trend has people sharing photos from 2016 on social media. We can’t resist a quick trip down memory lane, so here’s what was happening around Nashville a decade ago.
  • Remember this historic snow storm in January 2016?
  • Chef Josh Habiger opened Bastion. A decade later, it’s one of three local restaurants rocking a Michelin star.
  • It was a big year for pop — Adele, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, and Justin Bieber performed at Bridgestone.
  • The Belcourt Theatre underwent a major renovation before reopening in July 2016.
  • ABC canceled the TV drama “Nashville” after four seasons, but CMT swooped in to save the show.
If you have a favorite local memory from 2016, I’d love to hear it.
