As Music City’s startup scene enters another busy year, Launch Tennessee shared a handful of Nashville-based companies to keep on your radar in 2026. The nonprofit works closely with founders across the state and has made investments into ~20 local startups through its equity fund, InvestTN.
TuneHatch
This platform streamlines how artists, venues, and promoters work together on live shows, “from initial outreach to final payouts.” The company was founded by Christal Hector, a musician and Vanderbilt University alum recently named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Music.
Potluck
Potluck is a social platform designed to answer a familiar question: “What should I bring?” The tool helps hosts and guests coordinate food, share photos, and stay connected before and after an event — without the clutter of group texts.
Titans fans will spend less time in line when the new Nissan Stadium opens in 2027. The team is partnering with Amazon to launch Just Walk Out technology at 40+ concession spots, marking the largest single-venue rollout of the checkout-free system in any NFL stadium.

Bobbi Brown’s beauty brand Jones Road opened its first Tennessee storefront in 12 South. The shop offers makeup, skincare, and appointment-based services such as applications and lessons.
Coming Soon
Body Alive, a studio specializing in “high-energy hot fitness” and hot mat Pilates, is set to open in Green Hills next month on Cleghorn Avenue. The biz plans to host some pop-up events this weekend, but all classes currently have waitlists.
Traffic
NDOT crews have started repairs on the Woodland Street Bridge. Expect shifting lane and sidewalk closures during the three-phase project, though traffic will continue to move in both directions. Work is scheduled to finish in early June. (WKRN)

Did you know a two-week-old aardvark is about the size of a rolling pin? The Nashville Zoo shared that fact while announcing the birth of its first aardvark calf. The calf was born at 6:06 a.m. on New Year’s Day, making it one of the first animals born at an AZA-accredited zoo this year.
The aardvark is the first for mother Karanga, who came to Nashville Zoo in 2021 from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and father Winsol, who arrived in 2019 from Cincinnati Zoo.
