Sober sips around town

Whether you’re doing Dry January or just skipping alcohol for the night, it helps to know which spots offer thoughtful non-alcoholic sips. Luckily, Nashville has plenty of options year-round, but these five spots were the first to catch our attention this month.

Aba
For something bright, lightly tart, and refreshing, sip on the Mockingbird made with pineapple, hibiscus, pomegranate, and citrus.

Sushi-san
Spice up your meal by ordering the Don’t Look Down. It’s made with grapefruit juice, Fusion Verjus Rouge, and a housemade syrup infused with star anise, cloves, cinnamon, sesame, Szechuan peppercorns, and fennel.

cafe babu
Coffee by day, mocktails and more by night — and no need to choose just one. Options include the floral Gins & Roses, the citrusy Spritz, and a sparkling Hibiscus Raspberry with zero-proof tequila.

White Limozeen
The Baby Tomato mixes tomato-strawberry juice with apricot chili puree, lime, and a pinch of salt.

Stateside Kitchen
The South by Stateside is a bright beverage made with a tequila alternative, black tea, strawberry, lemon, and yuzu lime soda.
