Live Nation unveiled plans for The Truth, a 4,400-capacity indoor music hall set to open in fall 2026 — adding to Nashville’s growing list of live music spots. The name nods to songwriter Harlan Howard’s famous line that all you need to write a country song are “three chords and the truth.”

Nate Bargatze is hosting a new network game show that will film at Nashville Municipal Auditorium from Saturday, Nov. 1 to Tuesday, Nov. 4. Contestants will try to guess how Americans answered questions, with one winner taking home $67,920 — the average US salary. Tickets are free, but there’s a waitlist. (The Tennessean)

Christie Cookie Co.’s annual Santa’s Favorite Cookie Contest is back. Kids 13 and under can submit their cookie name + flavor idea (with up to four ingredients) through Saturday, Nov. 15. The winning cookie will be sold in December catering orders, with 20% of proceeds donated to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Nashville International Airport is preparing for its next major expansion. The announcement — shared in a video featuring Trace Adkins — revealed plans for a second terminal on the south side of the property, marking the next step beyond the current New Horizon plan. The four-phase project will rise on 309 acres next to the existing terminal and feature five concourses.
“This adjacent location allows us to plan entirely from the ground up without disrupting current traffic patterns or passenger flow,” said Doug Kreulen, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority.
