We’ve savored weeks dedicated to burgers, tacos, and hot chicken. Now it’s time for Nashville Scene’s inaugural Pizza Week.

From Monday, Sept. 8 to Sunday, Sept. 14, more than two dozen restaurants will sling $12 specialty pies — think: Tutti Da Gio’s pizza with a heavy cream base, prosciutto cotto, and smashed potatoes + Yogi’s lasagna pizza. Even non-pizzeria players like Taco Bamba are joining in.

Pro tip: Look for the icons on each listing to spot gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Open

Show

Tickets for the 59th annual CMA Awards go on sale today, Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. The show airs live from Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 19, and the nominees will be announced Monday, Sept. 8.

Watch

“You don’t even have to kick your boots off.” Country star Lainey Wilson recently opened up her Nashville home to Architectural Digest. Watch the 15-minute home tour to see the leopard print stair carpet, sparkly ceilings, and a piece of preserved wood from the original Grand Ole Opry stage.

Number

Tomorrow night’s Powerball jackpot is up to an estimated $1.7 billion, the third-highest prize in the game’s history. If you manage to land the fortune, you could buy one of the most expensive homes on Davidson County’s real estate market. Just a suggestion.
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum visitors have until Tuesday, Sept. 16 to catch “Western Edge” before the exhibition concludes its nearly three-year run. Sure, you can browse highlights in this photo gallery, but it’s more fun to see Dwight Yoakam’s suede jacket and other artifacts in person.

Seasonal

Nashville Nightmare reopens for the season tomorrow, Sept. 6 with four brand new haunted attractions. The Madison venue will operate select nights through Sunday, Nov. 9.
