Find baguettes, croissants, seasonal tarts, coffee, and sandwiches, plus catch a view of the pastry team at work through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Stoke Haus Brewing & Barbecue, 948 Main St.
The new East Nashville brewpub serves beer, cider, and house-made sodas alongside barbecue platters and sides.
Goodfellas Pizzeria, 1116 Grundy St.
The Lexington, KY-based spot known for New York-style pizza serves specialty pies, calzones, and subs. Our colleague Alexis at LEXtoday says the arm-length extra-large breadsticks are a must.
Ingrassia & Sons Italian Deli, 461 Humphreys St.
Stop in for sandwiches, hot foods, and desserts. Bonus: There’s also a market stocked with specialty groceries.
A new martini lounge opens Saturday, Sept. 13 inside Dream Nashville. The concept will serve “playful reinventions of martinis,” including alcohol-free options, plus fun snacks like a tiny hot dog tower. There’s even a $200 martini that comes with a custom cowboy hat to take home.
Civic
TDOT installed new bike lanes connecting Germantown and East Nashville via Jefferson Street and Spring Street. The route features separated bike lanes supported by flex posts and delineators. Additional improvements are planned for 12th Avenue South and near TSU. (WSMV)

615 Indie Live returns Saturday, Feb. 7 with a full day of performances supporting Nashville’s independent music venues. Early bird tickets are $15 ahead of the lineup announcement this fall, and artist submissions are open for the next two weeks.

Dogs will take over Nashville Shores on Saturday, Sept. 27 for the 7th annual Pooch Pool Party. Pups can enjoy the wave pool (don’t worry, the waves will be off) and a fetch zone while their humans tag along. Tickets are $25 in advance and include entry for one dog + one person.

Itching for hockey season to get underway? Preds players will hit the ice at Clarksville’s F&M Bank Arena for an intrasquad game on Thursday, Sept. 25. Tickets for the Gold Star Showcase are on sale now.
