Creekside cottage | Pasquo
Unwind on the porch with the sound of the creek below. Inside, you’ll find a queen bed, claw-foot tub, and locally made ceramics that give the space its charm. Loveless Cafe is just a mile away if you want to pick up some biscuits before retreating to the quiet hideout.
Forest cabin | Franklin
Perched on 13 acres at one of the highest points in Franklin, this tiny cabin is surrounded by old-growth oaks and maples. Spend time at the property’s pond or make the short drive to Leiper’s Fork.

Speaking of getting out of town, I had a great meal recently at Golden Lanzhou Bowls down in Murfreesboro (the hand-pulled noodles were a hit). If you’re in the area, this spot and Cup Pop are great places to stop in for a bite.
