It’s almost National Dog Month, making it a great time to hit the town with your pup. From outdoor dining to brewery hangs, Music City has plenty of dog‑friendly spots to explore.

Unless otherwise noted, these places welcome pups primarily on outdoor patios.

  • Scout’s Pub, Franklin | Fido won’t go hungry here, thanks to a six-item dog menu featuring everything from bacon to burgers.
  • Waldo’s Chicken & Beer, locations vary | Find a seat on the dog-friendly patio to enjoy fried chicken and a cold drink with your pup by your side.
Bonus: Stop by Waldo’s Germantown tomorrow, Aug. 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. for Yappy Hour featuring pet treats + $5 spiked slushies and blueberry vodka lemonade.
