Speaking of frozen treats, Handel’s Ice Cream plans to open at Nashville Yards tomorrow, July 17. The chain, which also has a Franklin scoop shop, offers 48 rotating flavors each month, such as banana cream pie and blueberry cobbler. (Nashville Lifestyles)

Nashville International Airport welcomed 24.8 million passengers in the most recent fiscal year — a 4.5% increase over the previous record. That’s an average of ~67,900 passengers per day. (Nashville Business Journal)

Nate Bargatze will be pulling double duty at the Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sept. 14. Not only is the Nashville-based comedian hosting the show, he has two nominations for “Your Friend, Nate Bargatze.” (The Hollywood Reporter)

Margo Price is hitting the road this fall following the release of her new album “Hard Headed Woman,” with a stop at the Ryman Auditorium on Thursday, Nov. 20. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 18.

Three Nashville SC players have been named to the 2025 MLS All-Star team: Hany Mukhtar, Sam Surridge, and Andy Najar. The match takes place in Austin on Wednesday, July 23, but fans can tune in via Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass.

First Horizon Park took the top spot in our ballpark poll with 40% of the vote, followed by Nissan Stadium. One reader even suggested the Steeplechase grounds at Percy Warner Park.
As for dream matchups, the Braves and Yankees were clear fan favorites, with other nods to the Cubs, Dodgers, Cardinals, and Mets. A few readers pitched a repeat MLB Speedway Classic game between the Braves and Reds, and others held out hope for a MLB team of our own.
