Perenn, 94 E. Main St.
Nevada-based restaurant and bakery Perenn opened in downtown Franklin on May 31. The spot offers baked goods, breakfast dishes, sandwiches, and coffee. Perenn’s Nashville location on Sidco Drive is expected to open this summer.
TantĂsimo, 306 46th Ave. N. | Reservations
Five years after launching as a pop-up, TantĂsimo opened in Sylvan Park in early May. The farm-to-table restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and espresso by day and shareable plates and cocktails by night.

A $5.5 million permit has been filed for Dolly Parton’s downtown museum, set to open on the third floor of her future 12-story SongTeller Hotel. Details are still under wraps, but Parton said it will feature artifacts and clothing. (Nashville Business Journal)

The Corner Bar is set to reopen in July, this time as Corner Bar South in the former South Side Pizza Kitchen & Pub space. The new spot on Nolensville Pike aims to replicate the longtime Elliston Place location, which closed in March. (Nashville Post)

Aloha Fish Company plans to relocate to oneC1TY as it marks five years in business. The market, known for having seafood shipped from Hawaii, will stay open for now while the new location comes together.
Drink
More than 30 coffee shops are serving specialty drinks as part of the fourth annual Nashville Coffee Pride Crawl. The crawl is organized by Matryoshka Coffee and runs through Saturday, June 28. Swipe to the second slide of this post for the full list of participants.
Plan Ahead
Cheekwood will host Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE in early August, marking the international floral show’s first stop at a historic US estate. The exhibition is set to feature 12 mannequins dressed in fresh blooms inspired by Cheekwood’s art collection, plus special events like a cocktail crawl + floral demos.

Predators stars Roman Josi (Switzerland) and Juuse Saros (Finland) were named to their countries’ preliminary Olympic hockey rosters for the 2026 Winter Games in Italy. Final rosters will be announced closer to the February tournament. (Nashville Post)
