Summer camp is in session — and it involves pancakes, syrup, and fun for campers (ahem, diners) of all ages.
The Pancake Pantry’s downtown location has transformed into Happy Camper, a pop-up decked out in camp decor from floor to ceiling through Saturday, Aug. 30. The special menu is available Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. and features categories such as:

For the Senior Campers and Camp Counselors (alcoholic beverages like “Juice Box” and “Gone Hiking”)
Badge of Dessert Honor (sweets like s’mores pancakes and fried Oreos)

As I scrolled through the Porter Flea vendor list, I realized I couldn’t possibly pick a favorite. I’d head to Music Valley Archive first to look at the T-shirts, but TNT Goods, Leaf Bug Studio, and Cold Gold are all on my radar. If you’re going, don’t forget quarters for the artwork vending machine.
