Hometeam Pizza plans to open a brick-and-mortar location this fall in the Belmont area next to Chago’s Cantina. The carry-out and delivery spot currently operates out of West Nashville’s Citizen Incubator Kitchens.

Megan Moroney is taking her hits to new heights. Starting today, L27 Rooftop Lounge transforms into The Emo Cowgirl, a pop-up inspired by her lyrics and style. Expect custom cocktails, food, and a merch space with limited-edition boots through Sunday, Aug. 31.
Traffic
Safety upgrades are coming to 16 school zones by August. Improvements include pavement striping, updated signage, flashing beacons, and radar speed signs.

Want to run on the field at Nissan Stadium — without security chasing you? Registration is open for the Titans Foundation 5K, which ends at the 50-yard line on Saturday, Aug. 16. Participants will receive a ticket to the Titans vs. Jaguars game on Sunday, Nov. 30.
Show of hands: Who hasn’t seen zebras all over social media this week?
Since a zebra nicknamed “Ed” broke loose from a Rutherford County home last week, he’s been spotted wandering neighborhoods and making national headlines. Though Ed’s whereabouts are unknown, he’s also made the rounds online thanks to AI-generated images placing him at Middle Tennessee landmarks, businesses, and events like CMA Fest and Musicians Corner.
If you spot the real Ed, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office asks that you call and report the location.
