The annual Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival in Mount Pleasant, SC — just a ~2-hour flight from Nashville —invites you to soak up some fun in the Lowcountry on Sunday, April 27.

Development
Paseo South Gulch is growing again. Pendry Hotels and Resorts announced it will break ground on a 30-story tower behind the Voorhees Building. By 2027, the development aims to offer 180 guest rooms, 146 residences, a ground-floor restaurant + a rooftop restaurant and bar. Residents will also have access to a whiskey and billiards room. California-founded technology firm Nextracker signed a lease on the East Bank, becoming The Landings at River North’s first office tenant. The firm, which specializes in solar technology solutions, will relocate its Nashville operations from its current MetroCenter office sometime this fall. (Nashville Business Journal)

The team behind NYC’s Death & Co. isn’t bringing its new bar concept Close Company to Nashville until May, but you can get a sneak peek of what’s to come in two weeks. The pop-up at Fancypants on Wednesday, March 26 from 5 to 9 p.m. will feature cocktails, snacks, and merch.
Eat
Not much is known yet about Bacco, a new restaurant planned for Four Seasons Hotel Nashville. A Metro permit indicates it will occupy 4,907 sqft of interior and 1,153 sqft of exterior covered space, though its unclear if it will replace any existing concepts. (Nashville Business Journal)

Earlier this week, we told you about the Nashville Zoo’s newest clouded leopard cub, and now it’s time to give her a name. For $1 a vote, you can choose between Lara, Tashi, and Mi. Better yet, the zoo plans to match donations for conservation efforts. Voting closes on Saturday, April 12, and the winning name will be revealed the next day.

After one season with the Tennessee Titans, Mason Rudolph is reportedly returning to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The quarterback appeared in eight games last season, primarily while Will Levis was injured. Sources also say the Titans will sign veteran quarterback Brandon Allen. (The Tennessean)
