Closing

Hi-Wire Brewing’s final day open is Sunday, Dec. 29. The Gulch taproom is inviting guests to “make these last days count” with specials like $4 full pours, $6 cocktails, and half-off to-go beer and merch. Read the full announcement.

Biz

In other closing news, Midtown’s Hi-Fi Clyde’s ceased operations yesterday after nearly a decade in business. The bar and restaurant known for its all-day brunch menu is part of the Monen Family Restaurant Group, which also runs Milk & Honey and Taco Mamacita.

Coming Soon

Kate Spade New York plans to open at Tanger Outlets Nashville in the spring. The brand known for its handbags and accessories will occupy a 3,500-sqft space near The Green.

Tennessean

It looks like Middle Tennessee native Butch Wilmore is going to be stranded in space a little longer. Due to a delay in launching a fresh crew, he and Suni Williams won’t return to Earth until March 2025. The real question iswhat do you do in space for 10 months? (AP News)

Hanukkah begins the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 25. Bundle up and head to Public Square Park for the Metro Nashville Menorah Lighting on Monday, Dec. 30 at 5:30 p.m.

The Vanderbilt Commodores are headed to the Birmingham Bowl on Friday, Dec. 27 to take on Georgia Tech. Cheer them on at the team’s official watch party at Jackalope with giveaways, party favors, and the chance to try the brewery’s Conquer and Prevail Pale Ale.
