The countdown to 2025 is on, and it’s not too soon to secure your New Year’s Eve plans.

Nashville’s annual celebration kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. Catch performances by Keith Urban, Kane Brown, and Jelly Roll before the Music Note Drop at midnight.

Opening

Coopers 12South, the new retail concept from Jockey and Luke Bryan, opens at 2605 12th Ave. S. on Friday, Dec. 13. Shoppers can expect exclusive apparel and locally crafted gift items, as well as artisan workshops, live music, and community events.

Eat

Texas-based Vidorra is still set to open in Nashville, though now at Cummins Station in the former Cinco de Mayo space. If the menu mirrors its Dallas locations, look out for dishes such as birria empanadas + fried avocado tacos. The opening date has not been announced. (Nashville Post)

Biz

New York’s Bathhouse is expanding to Nashville with a 40,000-sqft location in Wedgewood-Houston. While the opening is still TBA, we know memberships and day passes will be available for its saunas, cold plunges, and massage services. (Nashville Business Journal)

List

Sean Brock’s June is the only Nashville restaurant recognized in La Liste’s ranking of the world’s 1,000 best restaurants. As a reminder, June closed this fall as a tasting menu-only concept, though Brock said he plans to use the space for lab workshops, culinary classes, and pop-ups.

Jack Daniel’s will host a free holiday concert at Bridgestone Arena’s outdoor plaza on Tuesday, Dec. 17 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Country star Brett Young headlines the “Carols by the Barrels” event with Kelsey Hart and Harper Grace.

Ryman Auditorium announced a slew of new shows yesterday, including Amos Lee, Elvis Costello, Lonestar, Reckless Kelly, and Aziz Ansari. Tickets for all five shows go on sale Friday, Dec. 13, so head over to the Ryman’s website for the dates and ticket prices.
