The Nashville Predators will open the 2024-2025 season at home on Thursday, Oct. 10, so we’re here to help you gear up for all things game day.

If you just can’t wait to throw on your gold and navy, get in on the preseason action at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday, Sept. 28 (Tampa Bay Lightning) and Saturday, Oct. 5 (Carolina Hurricanes).

What’s new this season

The Predators made a splash in NHL free agency back in July when they signed Steven Stamkos, a two-time Stanley Cup champion with Tampa Bay, to a four-year, $32 million deal. The team also welcomed Jonathan Marchessault (five years, $27.5 million) and Brady Skjei (seven years, $49 million). Meet the other new and returning players.

Beyond the roster, Bridgestone Arena will debut a new premium club space in October. California Closets Studio offers lower-level views at all Preds games and most arena events, as well as all-inclusive food and beverages and other perks.

Getting loud in Smashville

Opening Night at Bridgestone Arena is on Thursday, Oct. 10 against the Dallas Stars at 7 p.m. Pro tip: Don’t miss the pre-game Plaza Party and other events leading up to the opener.

Here are a few more season highlights:
  • The schedule includes 13 Saturday home dates.
  • The Preds have the most home games (seven) in October and March.
  • The team’s longest homestand — in both January (Jan. 11-21) and February (Feb. 8-27) — is five games.
