Thinking about your next home upgrade project? Head to Music City Center today, Sept. 6 through Sunday, Sept. 8 for the Nashville Home Show.

The 41st annual event will have ~250 exhibitors and is expected to draw ~10,000 attendees.

Beyond the stage, look out for interactive activities like backyard putting greens, live mural paintings, a local marketplace, and Home Depot’s Kids DIY Workshop (Sunday).

Entry need-to-knows

Tickets are available online ($8) and in-person ($10) at the box office. Children 12 and under get in free. Make note of these discount days:
  • Entry is $5 after 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
  • Military personnel + first responders can attend for free all weekend with their ID.
  • Guests age 65 and older receive free admission on Friday.
  • Wear your Titans gear on Sunday for half-off admission.

  • The hospitality group behind Crow’s Nest and Noble’s is opening a two-story dining concept this fall in Hillsboro Village at 1602 21st Ave. S. Twenty First will serve “elevated American fare” on both levels, though the upstairs will be open later hours and offer outdoor seating. (Nashville Business Journal)

  • East Bank development The Landings at River North announced two new restaurant tenants, Thai Samurai and juice bar Pure Green, ahead of its opening later this year. Fitness studio Bodyrok and Sweet Truth Dental will also join the complex. (Nashville Business Journal)

  • Frozen treats await at East Creamery, a new East Nashville ice cream spot at the Shoppes on Fatherland — 1006 Fatherland St., Ste. 105B. Along with single, double, and triple scoops, the shop serves floats and rotating desserts. It’s open Thursday through Sunday.

  • Nashville Yards developer Southwest Value Partners released new renderings for The Everett, a 34-story residential tower. Pre-leasing is now underway for the 361-unit building, which will offer a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments. The first move-ins are expected in December.

  • It’s showtime at Hidden Bar. Noelle’s speakeasy-style space transformed into The Sandworm, a “Beetlejuice"-themed pop-up bar open through Thursday, Oct. 31. Expect “strange and unusual” decor + themed cocktails like the “Winter River Manhattan” and “I’ll Be Your Guide to the Other Side.”

  • Not only will “Survivor” host a fan event downtown on Saturday, Sept. 14 (we have all the details in this Instagram post), Nashville-based sports reporter Sam Phalen is one of 18 contestants competing on Season 47. Tune into the premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 18. (Entertainment Weekly)
