For some of us fall means one thing... the return of football. Need help planning for game day? Score the need-to-know info before the Tennessee Titans take the field at Nissan Stadium.

What everyone’s talking about:

If you weren’t already excited for the upcoming season, the Titans capped off their preseason with a 3-0 record. The games against the 49ers, Seahawks, and Saints also gave us a glimpse of Brian Callahan’s debut season as a NFL head coach.

Callahan will share some of the spotlight with quarterback Will Levis. As a rookie in 2023, Levis went on to start nine games and threw for 1,808 yards with eight touchdowns. The team looks to build on their early success this year as they open the regular season in Chicago against the Bears and No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams. Kickoff is set for Sunday, Sept. 8 at 12 p.m.

Off the field, the future Titans stadium is now under construction and parking is limited. Don’t worry, we have tips for navigating this below.

Someone holds a beer up in the Nissan Stadium stands as the game is happening on the field.

Cheers to the start of football season.

Well, here’s a clever combo: 888 — Nashville’s newest Japanese restaurant opening in September — brings new meaning to fusion cuisine by offering both refined Japanese fare and a vinyl record listening lounge.

The result: An immersive, high-fidelity dining experience featuring meticulously crafted acoustics paired with signature Japanese eats + drinks, like:
  • Nigiri
  • Cured salmon onigiri
  • Hot karaage (Japanese fried chicken)
  • Rare whiskies + craft beer
  • Curated sake
888 is attached to JW Marriott Nashville — just look for the red light at 8th and Clark Place.

Last week, we asked for your third place recommendations...

If you look like you’ve stumbled upon a brightly-colored residence, you’re in the right spot for Peachtree Neighborhood Grill. | Photo by @12southcarriagehouse

... and so many of our Nashville neighbors came through with suggestions. Here’s a refresher on the concept, as well as a few spots and activities that received shoutouts:
  • The Nations Run Club! We meet every Monday at Southern Grist for a run in the neighborhood at 6:30 p.m. Love seeing friends each week for a healthy habit!” — Lindsay M.
  • Peachtree Neighborhood Grill. The neighborhood group holds socials there and we get to meet new neighbors! The owners are always so welcoming of everyone!” — Monica W.
  • TPAC. I’m a season ticket holder for Broadway shows, Nashville Ballet, and Nashville Rep! It’s a little bit of a home away from home and brings me so much joy.” — Veronica D.
  • “We spend many of our weekends at Cedar Creek Yacht Club on Old Hickory Lake with our boating family. Friends from all over Middle Tennessee are members. We have a restaurant, outdoor church, pavilion, pool, tennis, volleyball, and pickleball courts. Our life-long friends are there with us.” — Deborah G.
