• The owners behind The Lipstick Lounge have a new East Nashville sports bar in the works, with hopes to debut the space in the next six months. Chapstick will open on the backside of its sister concept in a new 1,500 sqft building and offer a “60s and 70s type feel.” (Nashville Business Journal)

• Word on the street is... Fido Street Eats kicks off tomorrow, May 1. The Hillsboro Village coffee shop and cafe will offer curated street food-inspired menus on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with Chef Brody.

• It’s National Small Business Week. A new study by Forbes listed the Nashville area No. 4 of 25 least-risky cities for small businesses. The ranking was determined by 16 metrics spanning financial, safety, and workforce + customer risk. Review the findings.

• Billie Eilish will bring her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour to Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Later that month, catch Tyler Hubbard with Alana Springsteen on his “Strong World” tour at Ryman Auditorium. Tickets for both events go on sale Friday, May 3.

• Tanger Outlets Nashville is launching a new free summer movie night series. The last Friday of every month through July, guests can see “Cars” (June) and “Wonka” (July) while munching on complimentary popcorn and participating in themed activities. The series kicks off on May 31 with “Barbie.”
