Did you hear that? That’s the sound of a quarter-million blooms bursting into color.
Cheekwood in Bloom: Belles Fleurs brings a delightful slice of France to Nashville. From Saturday, March 9 to Sunday, April 14, witness 250,000 blooming bulbs paint the parterre-inspired gardens in a kaleidoscope of cheerful pastels, inspired by the French Impressionist Edgar Degas, whose work will be on display at the Cheekwood Mansion and Museum.
Channel your inner Emily in Paris as you stroll through the gorgeous grounds, and be sure to pause for a pic with the model Eiffel Tower.

Ryman’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame exhibit keeps rocking

Ryman Auditorium’s collaborative exhibit with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is growing.
The second-floor space, which opened in fall 2022 after the venue received recognition as a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Landmark, honors inductees who have performed on the Ryman’s stage. Here are some of the new artifacts on display:
Diana Ross | Striped jumpsuit worn by The Supremes icon
R.E.M. | Dyna-Sonic snare drum from Bill Berry’s original drum kit
Ray Charles | Brown striped tuxedo
Brenda Lee | Blue satin dress worn during the filming of “Smokey and the Bandit II.” Fun fact: Lee’s first Nashville performance was on the Ryman stage in 1957, and she most recently appeared in 2022.
Lynyrd Skynyrd | Navy blue 1976 tour jacket and signed Remo drumhead used during the band’s Nov. 13, 2022 performance at the Ryman.
Bob Dylan rarely plays back-to-back nights in Nashville, which has me curious how he’ll spend his free time in Music City later this month. Regardless, seeing him in the 1,200-person capacity Brooklyn Bowl should be a treat if you’re a fan.
