The Tennessee Titans are preparing to tackle the 2024 season without head coach Mike Vrabel.
The team today announced the firing of Vrabel, the third winningest coach in franchise history, after six seasons. The decision comes after Sunday’s regular season finale win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which resulted in a 6-11 season record.
While there’s no word on who will replace Vrabel, Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk said the following, in part, about the current state of the team.
“Our vision is not simply to produce more wins than losses, it is to regularly compete for championships. While this season was disappointing, I see early signs of progress taking shape. [...] With a coaching search, enviable cap space, and top-10 draft position, this offseason is as important as any in our history.” |
