Berry Hill could be getting a multi-building entertainment campus anchored by Universal Music Group. The project would incorporate recording studios, educational spaces, expanded public park with an outdoor performance venue, and more. (Nashville Post)
Eat
The Rosemary & Beauty Queen team plans to open a new concept in East Nashville at 200 S. 11th St. The ~70-seat restaurant, which doesn’t yet have a name, is expected to open late next year. Early details hint at late-night dinner and outdoor spaces. (Nashville Business Journal)
Traffic
Heads up, drivers. The first of five waves of road and sidewalk closures will begin Thursday, Dec. 14 ahead of Nashville’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. See the list of closures to help determine alternate routes. (WTVF)
Sports
Titans player Jeffery Simmons is nominated for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. The accolade recognizes a player for excellence on and off the field + is considered the NFL’s most prestigious honor. The winner will receive $250,000 for the charity of their choice.
Eat
Nashville pizza restaurant St. Vito Focacceria is nominated for USA Today’s 10Best list of best new restaurants in the country. St. Vito specializes in sfincione pizzas and Sicilian-inspired fare at 605 Mansion St. Cast your votes through Monday, Dec. 25.
Coming Soon
Stacked Express by The Pancake Pantry is expected to open this month at CoolSprings Galleria. The Nashville restaurant’s sister concept will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner (think: pancakes, biscuits, and club sandwiches) in the food court. (Williamson Source)

Cheekwood’s Winter Concert Series returns on select Saturdays in January and February. The trio of concerts features performances by The Ryan Middagh Jazz Orchestra (Jan. 27), Crescent City Hoodoo All-Stars (Feb. 10), and the Music City Latin Orchestra (Feb. 24). Tickets are on sale.

More tacos, queso, and margaritas are on the way to Nashville.
Torchy’s Tacos will set up shop late next year at 1929 Broadway. The 1940s-era building — located at the Broadway and Division split — was last home to neighborhood restaurant Flatiron.
What to know
The Austin-based chain is known for its innovative Tex-Mex that goes by the slogan “Damn Good.” Since the company’s founding in 2006, Torchy’s has expanded beyond Texas with over 100 locations across the US.
