Enjoy taco specials at 40 participating restaurants and vote for your favorites throughout the week. Attend Monday’s kick-off party (5-7 p.m.) at Live Oak for tacos and drink specials. We don’t play favorites when it comes to tacos, but here are a few specials we’re excited to try:

  • Saint Añejo | Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos, made with avocado serrano, ranch, slaw, corn, queso fresco, and pickled red onion
  • Makeshift | Four burger tacos (Think: bacon jam, chili cheese, and more)

Waffle Shop

Thursday, Dec. 7 | The Downtown Presbyterian Church, 154 Rep. John Lewis Way N. | $17.85

Waffles and community are at the heart of this event dating back to 1925. What began as a fundraiser for the Presbyterian Women’s Group is now a holiday tradition supporting the church’s Fish & Loaves ministry, which provides free meals and essential items to those in need. Admission includes:
  • Waffles, grits, choice of Hattie B’s (hot or mild) chicken or Puckett’s country bacon, and choice of Frothy Monkey coffee or spiced tea
  • A guided tour of The Downtown Presbyterian Church’s historic Egyptian Revival sanctuary
  • The opportunity to shop baked goods, handmade crafts, and more + participate in a silent auction
Pro tip: There will be free parking and shuttle service available at Nissan Stadium (Lot B).

Picking up friends or relatives from the Nashville International Airport soon?

Beginning Friday, Dec. 1, the airport will introduce new short-term parking options with complimentary and reduced rates. Parking will be free for the first 30 minutes, and beyond that, range from $5 to $30.

Where to park:
  • Terminal Garage 1
  • Terminal Garage 2
  • Cell phone lot, 1415 Murfreesboro Pk. (always free)
View the airport’s parking map for garage locations and other information.

Airport officials said the new parking options aim to “eliminate the habit of persistent circling of Terminal Drive,” which has led to roadway congestion. Pro tip: Travelers can sign up for BNA Alerts Onboard, a text-alert system sharing traffic updates and alternative routes.
