🌧️ Expect a chance of rain on Saturday and temps in the high 40s.
Howdy, Nashville — Skylar here. The chilly weather has me curling up inside most days. Between this and one of my 2024 goals being to learn a new craft, I’m eyeing tickets to the hand embroidery class on Sunday. Keep scrolling for eight other upcoming events.

Ready or not, here comes Nashville’s holiday pop-ups. One of the first on the scene is Ralphie’s Christmas at Hidden Bar — located inside Noelle at 200 4th Ave. N.
Dylan here. This new pop-up inspired by “A Christmas Story” has me feeling a little festive as we head into the weekend. It offers cozy seating (no reservations required) with themed drinks like “Pink Nightmare” and “Drink Your Ovaltine” + a couple food options. Check out our Reel — we triple-dog-dare ya.

Western North Carolina is a favorite year-round road trip destination to beat the heat in the summer, take a scenic drive in the fall, and hit the slopes in the winter.
A visit to Appalachian Ski Mountain for night skiing and snow tubing, followed by dinner + drinks in nearby Boone or Blowing Rock is practically tradition.
Why go: Home to Appalachian State University, Boone is buzzing with college town energy, so you’ll get a mountain town feel with plenty of modern amenities.
Food: Get your Southern food fix at Dan’l Boone Inn, which has been serving homecooked meals for over 50 years. The Boone staple regularly makes Southern Living’s lists of “best country cooking restaurants.”
