SweetMilk, a new concept from restaurateurs Pat Martin and Bill Darsinos, will soon open at 329 Donelson Pk. The breakfast and lunch eatery plans to serve buttermilk biscuits, pancakes, country fried chicken, and other Southern staples. Stay tuned for the opening date.

Marathon Village is home to a new coffee shop and cocktail bar. Grandpa Bar is open daily for coffee and pastries (alcohol will come later) at 1501 Herman St. Try this: A latte made with house syrups such as lavender and Goo Goo.
Traffic
Beginning tomorrow at 7 p.m., Korean Veterans Memorial Boulevard will be closed from 1st Avenue South to South 2nd Street for utility relocation work. The closure will last through Tuesday, Oct. 10. Take note of the detour routes.

Game on, Music City. Monopoly: Nashville Edition was officially revealed yesterday.
The board game’s famous Atlantic City squares were replaced with the Nashville Zoo, Cheekwood, the Country Music Hall of Fame and other landmarks, as well as local eateries like The Pancake Pantry and Amerigo.
As soon as you pass GO, you’ll find yourself on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge and at Radnor Lake. Organizations such as Nashville Humane Association, Alive, and Book’em also make an appearance.
