Berry Hill’s The Yellow Porch opened its doors for the last time over the weekend after serving Music City for 25 years. The restaurant group behind Sylvan Heights’ Common Ground will expand and take over The Yellow Porch’s location. (WKRN)

The Nashville Predators fired head coach John Hynes and assistant coach Dan Lambert with one year left of their contracts. The team is expected to hire former Predator Andrew Brunette, according to reports. (The Tennessean)
The US Men’s National Team will host Ghana in a match at GEODIS Park on Tuesday, Oct. 17 ahead of the USA’s quarterfinal matches in the Concacaf Nations League. Tickets go on sale Thursday, July 13.
Hendersonville’s Josef Newgarden took home his first Indianapolis 500 win over the weekend. His victory marked only the third time in the race’s history that a driver passed on the last lap to pull off a win + the fourth closest finish with a .0974 lead. (Nashville Post)

Were your Spidey senses tingling? Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Live in Concert will take over TPAC’s Andrew Jackson Hall on Saturday, Sept. 2 to pair a screening of the animated film with musicians and a DJ live on stage. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
