Metro Council deferred a vote on the $2.1 billion stadium deal. The council will now consider it on the second of three readings on Tuesday, April 18. Leaders could hold a special called meeting for the final vote at the end of April. Stay tuned for updates. (The Tennessean)
Following the first round of draft redistricting maps, the Metro Planning Department released a second round called Proposal B. The Planning Commission will hold a meeting at 4 p.m. today to review and recommend maps for Metro Council consideration.

Capitol View’s inaugural May Day Festival is on Saturday, May 6. Nelson Merry Street will be closed from 12 to 6 p.m. for live music, street vendors, and food trucks. Plus, there will be flower crowns, balloon animals, tie-dye stations, and face painting. Pro tip: It’s free — reserve tickets.

Head to Bells Bend Park on Saturday, April 15 (9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) for the Nashville Outdoor Recreation Festival and Expo. The 11th annual event will feature workshops, archery, rock climbing, bouldering, and other activities.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a new student art exhibit in the Taylor Swift Education Center. “All I Am” features music-inspired artwork created by students from Hunters Lane High School. Meet the artists + listen to the exhibit’s companion song, “Who We Are.”
