Over 50 eateries participating in Nashville’s Restaurant Week

We’ve told you all about Dine Nashville’schef collaboration series this month, but there’s still more fun (and food) to be had. The annual foodie celebration’s Restaurant Weekkicks off on Monday and runs through Sunday, Feb. 26.
Over 55 participating restaurants will serve two- and three-course prix fixe lunch, brunch, and dinner menusranging from $25 to $55. Reservations are encouraged, but not required.

Thursday, Feb. 16
Frist After Five: Celebrating Black Arts & Culture | Thursday, Feb. 16 | 6-8 p.m. | Frist Art Museum’s Frist Café, 919 Broadway | Free+ | Enjoy poetry by Guru, a musical performance by Quez Cantrell, and visual art by Jamaal Sheats.
Masquerade Gala of Music City | Friday, Feb. 17 | 7:30 p.m. | Marathon Music Works, 1402 Clinton St. | $60+ | Come to this formal masquerade ready for live performances by country stars and celebrity guests.
Saturday, Feb. 18
Zoo Run Run | Saturday, Feb. 18 | 2 p.m. | Nashville Zoo, 3777 Nolensville Pk. | $50+ | Put on your running shoes and gallop a 5K through the zoo’s trails, including areas not normally available to the public.
2nd Annual Mardi Parti | Saturday, Feb. 18 | 12 p.m. | Assembly Hall, 5055 Broadway | Cost of purchase | Enjoy special food hall fare, live performances, face painting, and a magic show.
Sunday, Feb. 19
Our Kids Soup Sunday | Sunday, Feb. 19 | 11 a.m.-2 p.m. | Nissan Stadium, Club Level West, 1 Titans Way | $25 | Dozens of restaurants will prepare their best soups at this benefit for local nonprofit Our Kids.

New hot chicken alert. Yard Birds opened this week in Brentwood at 710 Old Hickory Blvd. The restaurant, which was last home to Esquina Cantina, offers four heat levels — Southern, chipotle, habanero, and Trinidad Scorpion. Other features include a bar area and pool table.
Development
It’s all over now... at least, that appears to be the case. The SoBro property (410 Elm St.) set for Heaven’s Door Distillery — a project tied to Bob Dylan’s whiskey brand — is listed for sale. The project was also slated to include an entertainment venue and a space for Dylan’s artwork. (Nashville Post)

We’re ready, ready, ready to run. The Chicks are coming to Nashville on their 37-date world tour. Bridgestone Arena will host the country trio on Thursday, July 27 with special guest Wild Rivers. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m.
Classic rock band Styxannounced a show at the Ryman Auditorium on Saturday, June 17. The group — known for hits like “Come Sail Away” and “Mr. Roboto” — will be joined by Edwin McCain. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. 🎤
Theater
Heads up. TPAC announced a digital lottery ($30 tickets) for all performances of “SIX.” The Broadway musical begins its six-day run on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Submit your entry through Friday at 10:30 a.m.
Eat
Tennessee Brew Works will host its 8th Annual Crawfish Boil on Saturday, March 4-Sunday, March 5. Visit the taproom for 2,400 pounds of Louisiana Crawfish, andouille sausage, local corn, and potatoes — all boiled in the brewery’s Hippies & Cowboys IPA. View the music lineup. 🦞 (Nashville Scene)
