The holiday season is upon us, and Nashville restaurants are ready to help plan your feasts — whether you’re opting to dine out on the town or gather around the table at home.

  • Meal packs serve up to six guests and come with everything you need for a traditional feast – carved turkey, homemade brown gravy, cranberry relish, cornbread dressing, biscuits and preserves, and your choice of three sides.

  • Skip the cooking and order rosemary and sage turkey breast, cornbread stuffing, and sides like braised collard greens and smoked cream corn — individual items and desserts are also available.

  • If you’ve got the main dish covered, some of Juniper Green’s farm-to-table offerings include green bean and sweet potato casseroles, roasted harvest vegetables, sage dressing, and a variety of pies — vegan and gluten-free options also available.

  • Enjoy traditional fare, a carving station, and dessert table — cured meats include turkey, brown sugar glaze ham, and roast NY strip. Pro tip: This year’s holiday cocktail is a Jamestown old fashioned with coco-infused bourbon, spiced chai bitters, and walnut bitters.

  • This new restaurant — which has yet to officially open — will offer a prix-fixe dining experience with grilled pizza margherita, eggplant and zucchini pie, vegetable lasagna, and more.

What to know about Nashville’s Third Coast Improv Fest

Think fastThird Coast Improv Fest returns this week (Thurs., Nov. 3- Sat., Nov. 5).

The three-day eventhosted at Third Coast Comedy Club and The Loft at Third Coast — unites improv troupes from around the country for workshops and performances across a wide variety of genres. Here are some program highlights:
  • Improv Science Theater 4000 | Thurs., Nov. 3 | 9 p.m. | Third Coast Mainstage | Each show, the cast invites a different scientist to talk about current research and other topics + the group performs using the scientist as inspiration.
  • Off Broadway: An Improvised Musical | Thurs., Nov. 3 | 9-10:15 p.m. | Third Coast Mainstage | This Nashville-based improv troupe performs a one-act musical inspired by a genre and audience suggestions.
  • Empire | Fri., Nov. 4 | 8:30-11:30 p.m. | Third Coast Mainstage | Friday night’s headliner is an improv “super group” featuring some of NYC’s longtime musical improvers from the stage and screen.
