To celebrate National Cinema Day, the Belcourt Theatre, AMC and Regal Cinemas will drop all movie prices to $4 all day on Sunday, Aug. 27. That includes bigger-ticket formats like IMAX, Dolby, 4DX, and ScreenX.

If you need a sign to see “Barbie” or “Oppenheimer” (yep, even in IMAX 70mm), consider this it. In addition to new releases, several 2023 films will return to select theaters, including:

  • “The Little Mermaid” (sing-along edition)
  • “Super Mario Bros: The Movie”
  • “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”
  • “Asteroid City”

Looking for a throwback? The 30th anniversary “Jurassic Park” and 50th anniversary “American Graffiti” screenings will be in theaters this day, as well as Disney’s limited run of “Beauty and the Beast.”

Bonus: Save room for popcorn — Regal and AMC will be serving up $4 and $5 small concession combos, respectively.
