Nashville’s community trick-or-treating events

Who says Halloween festivities should be limited to one night? Use this guide and map to find 14 community trick-or-treating events before the big day.

Halloween falls on a Tuesday this year, so knowing when to take the kiddos trick-or-treating can be tricky. That’s why we’ve rounded up a handful of community candy gathering events to fit everyone’s schedules.

Suites and Treats | Wednesday, Oct. 18 | 5:30-7:30 p.m. | First Horizon Park, 19 Jr Gilliam Way | $6.33 | Participants are invited to trick-or-treat in the Club Level to collect candy.

Trick or Treat Crawl | Friday, Oct. 20 | 5-7 p.m. | The Golden Slipper, 314 Madison St. | Free | Start at The Golden Slipper, where you’ll secure your free candy bucket and drink, before walking to five other neighborhood businesses to collect candy.

Boo at the Zoo | Through Oct. 29 | 5-9 p.m. | Nashville Zoo | $18+ | Fall-themed scenes and activities, trick-or-treating for kids, special animal shows, and more.

Halloween in the Park | Saturday, Oct. 21 | 11 a.m.-3 p.m. | Charlie Daniels Park, 1075 Charlie Daniels Pkwy., Mt Juliet | Free | Expect costume contests, hayrides, a petting zoo, inflatables, and vendor booths.

Halloweekend | Saturday, Oct. 28-Sunday, Oct. 29 | 9 a.m.-5 p.m. | Adventure Science Center, 800 Fort Negley Blvd. | Cost of admission | Visit trick-or-treat stations, decorate DIY treat bags, make boo bubbles and monster masks, and watch a magic show.

Wilson County Public Safety Trunk-or-Treat | Saturday, Oct. 28 | 4:30-8 p.m. | Breeden’s Orchard, 631 Beckwith Rd., Mt. Juliet | Free | Fire, EMS, and police will be handing out candy, plus there will be inflatables and food.

Fall Fun and Halloween Hootenanny | Saturday, Oct. 28 | 12-3 p.m. | Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, 222 Rep. John Lewis Way S. | Cost of admission | Create a festive mask and design a pail for gathering candy.

Trunk n Treat | Saturday, Oct. 28 | 4-8 p.m. | Tee Line Nashville, 106 Duluth Ave. | Free | If you want to sign up to decorate your trunk and pass out candy, do so by Oct. 21.

Halloween in the Park | Saturday, Oct. 28 | 11 a.m.-3 p.m. | Moss-Wright Park, 745 Caldwell Dr., Goodlettsville | Free | The family-friendly event features a DJ, dancing, a pumpkin patch, crafts, games, photo booths, and treats from local businesses.

All Hallows East | Saturday, Oct. 28 | 2-10 p.m. | Five Points | Free+ | This Halloween block party features trick-or-treating (2-6 p.m.), costume contests, DJs, a haunted house, and more family fun.

Community Trick-or-Treat | Sunday, Oct. 29 | 1-4 p.m. | Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery, 5025 Harding Pk. | Free | Access to candy stations located across 30+ acres and the Halloween Carnival (pumpkin painting, carnival games, and more).

Trunk or Treat | Tuesday, Oct. 31 | 5-9 p.m. | Plaza Mariachi, 3955 Nolensville Pk. | Free | There will be a candy giveaway, prizes, music, carnival games, and a bounce house.

Spooktacular Halloween Block Party | Tuesday, Oct. 31 | 3:30-6 p.m. | Juvenile Court, 100 Woodland St. | Free | Kids can dress up in their costumes to collect treats from stations, get their faces painted, and enjoy a range of Halloween-themed games and activities.

Trick or Treat on the Square | Tuesday, Oct. 31 | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | Downtown Gallatin | Bring preschool-aged children to trick-or-treat merchants on the square — an alternative to evening events.
