Saturday kicks off the two-day Nashville Comicon, which describes itself as a pop culture convention where fans get to geek out and celebrate their favorite fandoms with friends and family.

Need-to-know info

Nashville Comicon will take over the Fairgrounds Nashville Expo Center on Saturday, June 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can buy passes for the full weekend or just one day.

Listen in on panel sessions, visit with special guests + shop art, collectibles, and merch from a variety of vendors. Here’s a sneak peek at two panels:

  • Batman Comics | Saturday at 3 p.m. | Calling all comic book enthusiasts — artists Jonathan Glapion, Craig Rousseau, and Robert Pope will share their favorite moments capturing the Dark Knight on the page in this Q+A session.
  • A Very Goofy Panel | Sunday at 1 p.m. | Hear from Bill Farmer and Jason Marsden, the voices behind Goofy and Max Goof.

Other special guests scheduled to appear include Chuck Norris, Will Friedle, Johnny Yong Bosch, and more. If you’re a cosplayer (aka someone who loves dressing as your favorite character), don’t miss the cosplay panel on Saturday and contests on both days.
