Light up the night this holiday season at Nashville Zoo’s Zoolumination — the country’s largest Chinese lantern festival opening this Friday, Nov. 17 and running through Feb. 4, 2024.

Guests will awe at 1,000+ all-new, hand-crafted silk lanterns, including towering animals, stunning florals, and beautifully reimagined scenes from Chinese folklore.

In addition to the captivating illuminated lanterns, Zoolumination also features:

  • Live entertainment: Chinese acrobats and entertainers perform nightly at the Amphitheater.
  • Animal encounters: See nocturnal animals, like the Sumatran tiger and flamingos, until 8:30 p.m., plus the Unseen New World exhibit, which is open all night.
  • Food and drinks: Sip + stroll with hot cocoa, cider (spiked available), beer, margaritas, coffee, and more, and munch on sweets and classic Zoo snacks.
  • Meet Santa: From Nov. 24-Dec. 24, meet Santa at the barn behind the Historic Home starting at 5:30 p.m.

Pro tip: Zoolumination is a popular event and can sell out, so advance-purchase tickets are encouraged.
