Plus, vote for the Nashville Zoo

City Editor Dylan here. 👋 Nashville is gearing up for Mardi Gras — but don’t sweat it if you can’t make it down to the French Quarter. While Tuesday, Feb. 21 is the official day Mardi Gras festivities begin, you can expect celebrations all weekend long in Music City. Here are three to have on your radar:
  • Dance the night away at Grand Hyatt Nashville’s Mardi Gras Le Grand Ball on Saturday.
  • The Gumbo Bros is leaning into its New Orleans roots with DJ nights, Sunday Jazz Brunch, and special menu items — view the schedule.
  • Head downtown to Assembly Hall’s 2nd Annual Mardi Pardi on Saturday for live jazz and swing music and special menu items like King Cake waffles from Liege Waffle Co.
