• Nashville is proceeding with a bid to host a 2028 national political convention, according to two letters Mayor John Cooper sent to both party committees last week. • Retired Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne will get his own 11-ft statue outside of Bridgestone Arena on Saturday, March 25.
