1 Hotel Nashville — 710 Demonbreun St. — opened across from Music City Center in July. Now, the luxury hotel is unveiling its upscale and intimate rooftop lounge. Mark your calendars for Friday, Dec. 9 when Harriet’s Rooftop Nashville is set to open on the 19th floor.
The vibe
Guests can expect indoor/outdoor seating complete with firepits, austere charred wood, and lush greenery accents. Each weekend, the rooftop will host rotating entertainment and special highlights like residencies with local DJs + quarterly “Fireplace Sessions” featuring live performances.
The sips
The regionally-inspired beverage menu features Harriet classics from the Purple Haze (lychee, hibiscus martini finished with Giuliana prosecco) to From the Grounds Up (Absolut Elyx, Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, Grand Marnier, and Licor 43 topped with an orange biscotti foam and salted espresso syrup).
A second section of the menu will be specific to the Nashville lounge. “Music City Sips” is a collection of locally-inspired libations like Sun Up-Sun Down (nitro-charged Wild Turkey Bourbon and Russel’s 6 Year Rye with hints of espresso, chili, chocolate, and citrus) and Cade’s Cove (Uncle Nearest 1856 Tennessee Whiskey paired with Nashville Co. Blackberry Marmalade).
Bonus: You’re sure to work up an appetite. The menu offers shareable plates ranging from hot chicken bao and tuna tataki to an assortment of signature sushi rolls.

What do you get when you cross some of your favorite celebrities, traditional bar games played in non-traditional ways, and some time spent at Ole Red? USA Network’s newest game show, “Barmageddon.”
The reality TV game show, hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella and produced by Carson Daly and Blake Shelton, was filmed at Nashville’s Ole Red and airs on Mondays beginning Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. CT.
What to expect
Two celebrities will face off in a set of five over-the-top and larger-than-life bar games (think: beer pong, axe throwing, and cornhole) to win redemption for viral video sensations. The loser of each round has a chance to even the score by spinning the “Wheel of Redemption” — a choice that comes with risky rewards. Bonus: What’s a show filmed on Broadway without live music?
