Tennessee Titans release new stadium renderings

The Tennessee Titans released a series of renderings of what their proposed $2.1 billion stadium could look like.

Last week, the Titans and Mayor Cooper announced a deal to potentially build a new enclosed stadium in time for the 2026 NFL season.

The proposed location is east of Nissan Stadium on land that is currently parking lots. The stadium plan will be reviewed and voted on by Metro Council in the coming weeks — in the meantime, let’s take a closer look at the early designs.

The renderings were created by Manica — a Kansas City-based architecture firm that worked on Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium — with help from local firm Hastings to bring “Nashville’s spirit and character” into the design. The renderings were commissioned to inform site planning and cost estimates for the 1.7 million-sqft stadium.

Key features of the design include:
  • Exterior terraces and porches with panoramic views
  • A circular, translucent roof
  • Improved sight lines for all spectators
  • High-tech and sustainable materials throughout the building
The domed stadium, which would hold ~60,000 guests, has a multipurpose design that could accommodate both Titans games and large-scale events. The team also envisions a 12,000-sqft community space that could be utilized year-round.

The Titans have not yet selected an architect of record, and full architectural designs will be released at a later date. Keep up with stadium updates and other news on the project’s website.
